The item must be currently in-stock online. The size, model, quantity, brand, color, etc. must match exactly.

Just know that the register may prompt the Walmart associate to get supervisor approval and that quantities may be limited to “one-per-customer, per item, per day.” An anonymous Walmart associate confirmed this trick to Business Insider, saying that checking prices online can often lead to in-store savings that can add up quickly. “If the item costs less online, then the store will comp,” the employee revealed in 2019. “The item just has to be sold on Walmart.com.” Internet-savvy shoppers have used this tactic for some time, but now that the world’s largest retailer has greatly expanded its online retail platform, chances are even higher that you could find some sweet savings on Walmart’s website.
