On Jan. 5, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the recall of select lots of Dole Sesame Asian Chopped Salad kits. The bagged salads were packaged with the wrong dressing and toppings, which had eggs in them that were not included on the package’s ingredient list, potentially prompting severe reactions among individuals with egg allergies. All of the affected batches bear UPC number 0-71430-00035-9 and the lot code B364016 or B364017.
